Brilliantly silentâŚ
That cover reminds me of this classic interpretation of one of my all time favourite song cycles
Surprisingly good late period Chet!
A gorgeous listen
Thanks @Rugby, I own many different versions (I collect them like Bachâs Cello Suites) but didnât know this one. Will check it out!
Many different versions of Ferreraâs Winterreise?
Sounds nice, but what is it?
No metadata on Tidal.
Haha, my mistake, I immediately assumed this was another interpretation of Schubertâs Winterreise. Now that you so elegantly correct me on this I remember someone already suggested this to me a while ago. Wouldnât be surprised if this was @HWZ, but Iâm not 100% sure. Anyway, I listened to it on Spotify (still no Tidal here) and liked it but also forgot about it. So much new stuff to discover and enjoy here
Edit: Shouldâve been alerted by the âJazzâ genre of course, but overlooked that because my brain said Schubie
Still very new to classical, couldnât resist and just bought a Schubert download. Hope this is a good one.
Not trying to influence you at all but you canât go wrong with Schubert IMO, and the same goes for the combination Schubert - Harnoncourt. Enjoy the music and let us know whether or not you like it!
Edit: Youâve just inspired me to play these interpretations again, thanks for that!
Already liking it better than your Beethoven recommendation. So far Tchaikovsky is my favourite.
