I see cassette tape has had a resurgence lately. Will people be dusting off their Nakamichiâs and lusting after a golden age of audio that never existed.
Cassettes are proof of the Devilâs hand on earth.

to create mix tapes etc but everything else would chew them up.
What sort of media needs a splicer, tape and a pencil for winding as standard equipment.

Saw her live a couple of years back just her and a bass player. Very clever arrangements.

Saw Jones, strictly by accident in a meat rack bar, in the late 70âs, in Hartford, CT. She was playing piano and singing original stuff. They hadnât even advertised her, at least not in the papers. There wasnât even a cover charge.
At one point she said, âIf you all donât stop talking, Iâm going to stop playingâ. No one listened, everyone was to busy trying to hook up.
In her early days, who knew?
