I have a lot of new favourite bands thanks to Roon, this is one I found on Tidal in the few weeks I was there before I moved n to Roon-land.

Every now and then one comes across an album that just brings a smile to your face and you wonder how has it taken 45 years for you to get to it, but get to it I have - and I’m here to share it with anyone who like me has missed it.

The Wild Tchoupitoulas album is a classic, for sure… - if you like it, try the Wild Magnolias as well - same church different pew… the Magnolias are almost as good , but for me, the Tchoupitoulas are the gold standard -

I was 16, so bought albums with my pocket money, so gaps between buying albums were bigger than they are now, used to play each album to death, and still know all of that era’s albums like the back of my hand.

I can’t find this Oscar Peterson album in Roon or Tidal. At least not in The Netherlands.
