Why miss the obvious NUC/ROCK. AN i7 with 16gb RAM ?

I know NUCs are dead but there are ASUS equivalents now I’m sure. It was a Roon recommendation for years.

PS I think Roon consider large as > 100k tracks say 10k albums

The Nucleus One is spec’ed for up to 100k, the Titan > 100k

But at what price , I checked in South Africa, R 45k , my NUC inc 4Tb SSD was 25k ???

As a Roon server and nothing else ?

Put your own NUC together or get the current Mac Mini M2. You are obviously familiar with MacOS so it should be a breeze to transfer everything to the Mini M2.

Point taken, i forget that not everyone has a child who works for Apple.
