Just had another listen to the new Springsteen album and it has got better with a couple of listens.

For now unsure whether to post this her or Music Germany thread. Always like a bit of Mono Inc. even if it’s only an EP

I had a lovely plate of hot chips last night (along with a slab of sausage roll and some baked beans). Today’s chip-fest is aural.

I’m a bit slow picking this one up, but very good :+1:

I agree with the five selections, although I find it a bit silly to restrict it to five.

I would have also mentioned Morbid Angel, I consider their ‘Altar of Madness’ essential.

Also Carcass and Napalm Death are an absolute must.

Historically Celtic Frost, especially their ‘To Mega Therion (1985)’ album, and Possessed and their album ‘Seven Churches’(1985) have been very important.

And last, but not least qua influence, I certainly would have mentioned Venom. Although I was never much of a Venom fan.

Btw, I could have named a few other bands, but I wanted to keep it short and sweet.
