Good Sir, do I look like the kind of man who has Betamax and laserdisc stuffed in his attic?
Okay maybe forget answering that question, but I never had either of them and I got rid of my last NTSC VHS tapes about 15 years ago and they were mostly US sports tapes I bought in Houston that were not available in the UK (ok and all the Red Dwarf series on VHS).
Only Cassette tapes that I am holding for you or @MusicD up there now.

I had bought the full series on DVD by then 
We are on the same page. We like stuff, and he who dies with the most toys wins. Objects left behind become part of our estate, and the kids can have an estate sale..or donate. Dispersement, retirement, or a sedentary life lacks adventure. I had a cocker spaniel who spent most of her waking hours collecting rocks and making a stack. She found it meaningful to be productive. Never had the nerve to explain to her that she should just lay in the shade or jump in the pool.
