When will you certify miniDSP SHD guys?
Have you asked minidsp? The work required for approval may be with them rather than Roon?
Roon do not comment on approval timelines.
Hi Tony, miniDSP says that Roon certification is ‘pending’ but don’t say who is causing the ‘pending’ - it’s been like this for a few months.
Lots of people bought the miniDSP SHD as one of the few devices that delivered Dirac and could be used as a Roon endpoint - then suddenly it wasn’t a Roon endpoint anymore and we were left hanging.
miniDSP have stopped responding to enquiries on the topic 
the already pushed a firmware few months ago to prepare for Roon Ready, since then nothing happened.
now they are just finger pointing at each other.
Judging by this thread, they may have some new hardware issues to deal with at the same time? That won’t be helping the situation of it is the case. I have looked at this device in the past to use with Dirac, so won’t be purchasing until they get the hardware/software sorted with Roon.
They also post this about a month ago… since then, cricket…
I am not sure who is waiting for who now… Roon does not response to thread in regards to this issue neither, it is quite frustrating IMO…
That devteam post is unclear. ‘…will now go…’ is an intent to send them to Roon, not a confirmation that this has been done. If they have been sent to Roon, they will be in the queue of devices to be certified. Roon have never given any indication of how long this process takes (even assuming no issues are found) or the size of the queue awaiting testing.
