Starting S4 of Shetland and picked this up. Comparing to the previously consumed Caribbean Cask. So far so good.

Have not directly compared them, but this is our regular premium whiskey. So good.

Of the mainstream blended whiskies produced, Dewar’s is one of the best IMO. I suspect this is in no small part due to the fact that a significant portion of the blend is Aberfeldy Single Malt.

A very fine and much underrated dram…
many years ago I was sitting in a bar in DC, and a guy walked in, sat down and signaled the bartender “Dewars, rocks, twist!”
which has always stuck with me as an excellent drink order.

Here’s (most) of my collection. Have a few nice bourbons that didn’t make it onto the cart. The bottle of Kirkland’s Finest is out as a bit of a joke, but it’s actually a solid Speyside single malt.

Went for a 3 year older than previous Dalmore to kick off Christmas Eve Eve. This was on sale and The Balvenie Double Wood was sold out.

Shhh Kelt is so good but under the radar. When I shared the XO with a friend he said he took great offense that he was just now tasting it. I said " I told you about it" he said I should have insisted he taste it and it was my fault.
Admittedly the surroundings make me look a bit of a dinosaur (fair enough) but that bit of ‘winter sun’ is relatively current. And almost gone 
so I better enjoy it while it lasts.

I’m not sure I could drink this monster without the ice.
I’m training myself towards neat, but this might not have been a best starter for that.
Still I enjoy it with ice so I will continue and have some follow up bottles that will probably be easier for a starter like me
