Sharon Shannon is my distant cousin. I met her once at one of her gigs with Cherish the Ladies in western New York State and another time at The Birchmere in northern Virginia. She’s a fantastic multitalented musician.

Rory Gallagher plays awesome blues, I was really shocked when I read that he was an Irish guitarist.

Not half a shocked as me when I found out Muddy Waters wasn’t from Cork!
