Why can't I use roon on my iPad Air iOS 9.1?[Closed due to lack of response]

I am using a Mac mini for Roon and trying to use remote with my iPad Air (iOS 9.1).
Roon on my iPad stops immediately every time I am trying to open it.
I am not sure if it’s an iOS 9.1 issue and how I can use it.
Thank you.

Hi @Siripong_Rodekanok – sorry for the trouble here. Can you confirm two things for me?

  • The amount of free space on your iPad (Settings > General > Usage)
  • The model number on the back of the iPad – in the pic below, the number I’m looking for is A1489

Let me know the answers and we’ll figure out what’s going on here. Thanks!

Hi Mike,
Information for my IPad is

Free Space is 4.9 GB
IPad Model is A1475

Thank you,
Joe

Ok Joe – thanks for that info.

Can you follow these instructions and then send the logs to contact [at] roonlabs.com – just put “Siripong_Rodekanok Logs For Mike” in the subject line ok?

Getting Crash Logs Directly From a Device

  1. Open Settings app on iPad
  2. Go to Privacy, then Diagnostics & Usage
  3. Select Diagnostics & Usage Data
  4. Locate the log for the crashed app. The logs will include “Roon” in the name
  5. Select the desired log. Then, using the text selection UI select the entire text of the log. Once the text is selected, tap Copy
  6. Paste the copied text to Mail and send to the email address above

Thanks!

Thanks Joe - I’ve got the logs and I’ve passed them onto our developers.

It’s a holiday here in the States so feedback may be slightly slower than normal, but I’ll come back to you real soon and we’ll figure out what’s going on here.

Thanks!
