I am questioning the reasoning as to why on Nucleus and Rock we still have to use smbv1 for connecting to it’s storage when using Windows. Its an out of date method that has we’ll known security issues so much so Windows now blocks it as standard. So why does this still prevail? Lots of users can’t connect to their devices without having to compromise security by enabling it.
I’m not sure they do? At least I am able to connect to the Data share on my ROCK from Windows 10 without smbv1 installed.
The insecure guest account access policy does have to be enabled though.
