Why is the iOS roon app so jerky?

So my iPhone 15 Pro Max is here and yeah the scrolling is somewhat choppy even to my eyes. Clearly worse than in the iPad Pro M2 and not what one would expect from a top class device. As others wrote in the recent posts, it’s not difficult to reproduce for me, either. Just give the page a quick push in Roon and let it scroll until it comes to rest.
