I preordered 2 of the Wiim Sound Smart Speaker, mainly because it’s listed as Roon Ready on Roon’s official website, or have I misunderstood?
Installed it today, but it only shows up as “Roon Tested” (via Chromecast).
Is full RAAT / Roon Ready support planned, and if so, when will it be available?

I can see this device is certified as Roon Ready on Roon’s partners page so it should already be able to support RAAT.
Is there anything in the WiiM Home App (iOS/Android) that needs enabling?
WiiM released an update to their Home app regarding Roon Ready and being able to disable it.
My WiiM Pro Plus hasn’t had the firmware update for this, but maybe the WiiM Sound already has this update in its firmware and may need enabling via the WiiM Home > Browse page.
Note: the toggle switch has always been present on my WiiM Pro Plus but has never done anything.

Yes, there was an option in the WiiM Home App, I enabled “Roon via Chromecast”
After that, under “Music Sources” → Roon Ready, it simply launches my Roon app, where the device only appears as “Roon Tested” (as expected).
I’ve read from several sources tonight (including resellers and Darko Audio) that the actual “Roon Ready status” is still “Certification Pending.”
If that’s the case, it makes me both confused and a bit nervous, since I purchased 2 of them based on the Roon Partners page showing the WiiM Sound as “Roon Ready.”

Glad to hear @Mr.Flibble’s advice helped sort it out. We can confirm on our end that this device was enabled Roon Ready by WiiM/Roon back in October, so this makes sense.
