Windows 11 laptop Roon will not start after every Windows update

Hi Roon folks,
On my Windows 11 laptop Roon will not start after every Windows update.
My workaround is to just reinstall Roon without deleting the existing version first. This does the trick and maybe just ‘repairs’ some missing stuff.

Hi @Hans_Van_den_Bent ,

When you experience the issue next, can you please try the steps below to see if it resolves the issue?

  1. Close Roon

  2. Navigate to: C:\Users(username)\AppData\Local\Roon\Database\Registry\Client\

Note: It may require enabling “show hidden files and folders” to see this.

There you should see the file: saved_window_pos.

  1. Rename this file to saved_window_pos.old, restart your computer, and launch Roon then try to duplicate your issue.

Let us know if this doesn’t resolve the issue for you. If it does help, can you provide more details regarding your screen setup? Are you using widescreen or multiple monitors? What is the model/manufacturer of the model and what screen resolution do they use?
