Hello friend. Windows 8 is a security nightmare. You’re gambling using that old, unsupported operating system.

AppStore > Search: Roon Legacy > Install and connect to your core.

You’ll want to upgrade your Windows. There’s no reason to be on 8 now, get a free upgrade to 10 at least.

I am using it because it is the sole operating system that my dac supports. The good news is I am upgrading my dac this weekend!

In the meantime Id like to downgrade to 1105 on my iPad to be able to connect my PC. The oldest version is currently 1126 in app store.

I don’t think that’s possible. Best to wait for your new DAC, get your PC updated to Windows 10 or 11, and you’ll be good.
