- Search your most recent Roon Server log file for an entry that looks like this
Info: [library stats] tracks: 44132 (hidden: 6317), albums: 7843 (hidden: 1181), artists: 3982, works: 17392, performances: 24928
- Feed a prompt to your favorite AI chat bot that’s similar to the following (change the numbers to use the music library metadata from the Roon Server log file)
Roon implements the SymSpell library. Estimate how much memory would be used with maximum edit distances of 1 and 2 for a music library that has the following counts:
tracks: 44132
albums: 7843
artists: 3982
works: 17392
performances: 24928
Note that classical metadata contains significantly longer and more complex strings than pop/rock (e.g., “Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67: I. Allegro con brio”). Assume an average term length of 38 characters.

And while you’re in the Roon Server log file, can you find and share a recent line that looks this?
Info: [stats] 47967mb Virtual, 3750mb Physical, 1808mb Managed, 1942mb estimated Unmanaged, 0.91% of runtime in GC pauses, 13ms last GC pause duration
It would be helpful to see how your server’s memory usage is split between virtual, physical, unmanaged, and managed memory.
