I crossed the Martinus Nijhoff bridge this afternoon driving home from our holiday.
I waved at you, didn’t you see me??
Lovely, i walked that beach in -89, picking up a brand new Beneteau First 51’ sailing yacht! (To be sailed northward, up to Sweden)
Yesterday’s walk via Holcombe Rogus on the Devon/Somerset Border…
Holcombe Church (15th Century)
Holcombe Court, Tudor House (circa 1485 to 1603)
On my stroll through the vineyards along Lac Bienne, I had lunch at a fantastic restaurant, Aux Trois Amis
It has a rebus on its front wall
The owner of the restaurant revealed the meaning of the rebus:
The O is equivalent to the French phonetic ,Aux‘, the square root of 9 is three, and the A can be completed with the musical note ,mi‘, therefore the meaning „Aux Trois Amis“
The number 24494 stands for the date 24th of April 1894 when the three friends had dinner at the restaurant to give its present name.
Bon appétit!
Another stunning image. Really stirs my Celtic and Scandinavian juices!
Lovely. Is that your own prop sheep? I’ll have to get one for my photographs. It adds a lot of verisimilitude!
It’s difficult NOT to get them in the frame. You’ll be better of fencing of the area to keep them out. They far outnumber people on the Faroe Islands.
Everybody knows of course they prefer to be behind the camera
The place is stunning. If you can’t take a few nice pictures there then you forgot to take of the lens hood
No, he borrowed it from @garye.
