Description of Issue

i previously had a zidoo z1000 pro and used roon to stream from qobuz (no native support for qobuz on zidoo)
i was able to use RAAT transport for looseless connection, z1000 pro used to appears with a spacial icon on the device list and also with an airplay option

i just upgraded to ZIDOO NEO S and i am just able to use airplay, RAAT seems unavailable

Have you rebooted the Core since changing to the Neo S to see if that helps with it being recognized?
How is it connected to your system?

Maybe you have to turn on Roon Ready on the device, like some other endpoints. Have you looked in the manual to see if it needs to be activated ?

There is no option on the zidoo to active roon compatibility
I still just have the airplay option

So, if I understand, you have an ethernet cable going into the Zidoo. Double check what the Zidoo’s IP address is to make sure it is in the same sub-net range as the Core… 192.168.1.xxx based on your pics.

Yes it is, Nas is 192.168.1.130

I have the neo s and it worked flawlessly with roon from the day i plugged it in

Is the Neo S you have fully updated on latest firmware?

I tried to update it on arrival, and it prompted no update.
I tried again ticking allow beta firmware and a new version was available.
I now have the RAAT available !
