Describe the issue

I have a roon Nucleus+ and ~10 Meridian 218s using Roon Ready. After a period of playback the various zone groupins begin to drift and do not remain in sync. All devices are up to date etc.

Describe your network setup

Watchguard firewall > Cisco SG550 core stack > wired Nucleus and Meridian players

Hi @EricB,

There’s no active Roon license associated with the account from which you’ve posted, so we’re not able to investigate any diagnostic logging from the devices you’ve mentioned.

Do you have a second Roon account under a different email address? Are you posting on behalf of a Roon dealership or another user?

Please use the directions found here and send over a set of zipped RoonServer logs to our File Uploader. If you have a timestamp approximating when the sync issue last occurred, please share that to expedite our investigation. Thank you!

Yes, this post is on behalf of an end-user. I will retrieve logs and submit them via the provided link.

Can you confirm that “shut down Roon on whatever device” in the provided instructions equates to accessing the gui of the Roon Nucleus+ and choosing “Stop” under the Roon server dropdown?

Hi @EricB ,

Yes, the Stop button referenced there is the action needed. Please let us know once logs have been uploaded, and if you can include the date + time + track playing when they are out of sync, that would be very helpful as well. Thanks!

Hi Noris,

Thank you for the follow-up. I have submitted the requested logs under this username EricB.

I don’t have exact timestamps, but have timeframes as reported by the end user.

Tuesday ~11pm system time
Wednesday ~8:30 system time - Terrace(s) and hot tub zones stop and start
Wednesday ~10:30 system time - Living, Dining, Kitchen zones disappear from group/roon app.
