This is odd, as its not affected my Ropieee zone at all nor my core with RME only done this on the Mac zone which was only recently setup. It seemed to be available today but was skipping slot, if I change settings the it disappears so I have just left it for now.
Same issue here. The interesting thing is that the zone I want appears in the āgroupā dialog but not in the main zone dialog. So itās acting like the zone can be grouped but not selectedā¦

Itās strange as Iām on day 3 without having any zones disappear since making that change.

Got tired of living without music and tried a database restore from backup from a few days ago ( prior to the 756 update ). For now, that seems to have fixed it. Got all my zones back ( after the db upgraded again ). Will update if I run into problems again.
I had to restart my ROCK three times todayā¦ Next time, try to test the new version BEFORE you let us download it!
DigiOne is only endpoint that doesnāt disappear for me. 
The same situation here with Sonos: doesnāt disappear.
Same issue here with my RPi 4 + DigiOne running Volumio and Roon Endpoint. Since 1.8 I need each morning to restart Roon Core.
Please fix this issue soon, it is a bit annoying.
After update to 1.8, i have this problem too. On my Win10 PC a have an USB audio interface Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 1 gen, and the ASIO audio device starts to disappear from the zone picker from time to time. There are no obvious reason why or when this is gonna happenedā¦ WASAPI audio still works well all the time (for the same hardware, once again). I never seen that before update.
Jumping in here to say Iāve been experiencing the same issues as many others. Mine seems to be related to a single Ropieee 3.075 endpoint with Allo DigiOne to Schiit Modius. This endpoint is half of a group for my first floor the other half being a Bluesound Node 2i. Rebooting Windows 10 based server does not resolve. I have to disable all audio zones and restore the Bluesound + another zone to allow me to create a group. Then I can ungroup, but it seems to clear the issue with the Allo DigiOne endpoint and I am able to regroup with the Bluesound. This has been happening nightly 
I built a Splunk dashboard to navigate the various logsā¦ seems to be a database corruption issue.

Seems to be getting worse and more frequent for me. Previously I lost only one zone at a time, now Iāve lost the lot apart from 2 Airplay zones which - of course - are the ones I never actually useā¦
Hoping this will be resolved asap!

Seems like A LOT of us are experiencing the same problem. I shouldnāt need to restart the server software every time I turn on my DAC for it to be recognized.

Same here with Lampi Golden Gate MK2 (Amanero) DAC.
I use a dedicated Roon Server with Linux, it was instantaneous with 1.7 now itās hide and seek non-stop. :-/
Hi Dylan, please note that the audio drivers also lose picker action showing No Audio Device Found when changing the buffer or doing any tweaks with EQ and other audio settings. This is much more complex. Thanks for helping. 
Same with core on Ubuntu machine.
Random endpoints disappear from the zone selection screen but appear in settings and I can even add missing ones to a group with a visible one.
Reboot core fixes it for a while.
Dealbreaker issue that needs fixinā!

Please fix this issue ASAP. My Zen Mini takes forever to restart .
running service roonserver restart fixes it for me. you shouldnāt need to reboot your entire machine.
