24 bit downsampling - how can I keep it "full fat"?

Hello @HuMaBits, After doing a search for this issue, it seems that others have also reported issues with 16-bit playback with the Audio-GD driver, even outside of Roon, see: I would suggest you look over the thread for any workarounds you can implement or reach out to the Audio-GD manufacturer for further assistance, as this is very likely an issue with the driver itself.

Thanks. I am sure you are right that there is a driver conflict. I have had this issue prior to windows 10 and the manufacturer was very patient with me. I contacted them this time and am yet to receive a response.
