Description Of Issue
I just updated the new iMac software yesterday and now Roon can’t find my Roon Core. I’ve updated software many times before and never had this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

does it work on the iMac? maybe you need to restart the remote setup? failing that restart the iMac and maybe the networking gear too
the core is on the IMAC and i’ve restarted it multiple times.
I have done that and still can’t find the core

Instead of using Roon Remote app, does Roon GUI work on iMac?
I’m not using the remote AP…I would have mentioned that…The core is on the IMAC

Then I don’t understand what is meant by:
“Roon can’t find my Roon Core.”
On iMac you only have one Roon, and that is the core. How can it not finding itself?
HAHA…why are you asking me? That is the literally the title of my post and question to Roonlabs.
Of course it doesn’t make sense, hence why I’m asking for help.

So your title actually means you cannot find Roon in your iMac?
I changed title…yes. I thought it was understood, the roon core was on my IMAC…I fixed it.
I suppose I can re start my internet and see if that changes anything.

Do you have multiple user accounts on Mac ? Perhaps it’s only available to a certain account?
I do not have multiple accounts

Taken in isolation, this statement doesn’t make any sense. I guess, you mean a Remote can’t find Core?
Huh?
If you want to permanently delete everything associated with the mac core install, exit Roon on the mac and remove the database directory . Then start it up again and it will be totally fresh.
You can also simply log out of the core running on the mac (in Settings->Account). This will stop it from showing up as a core.
Then, if you want, also uninstall program from macOS.
Probably won’t make a difference. You have some other problem, IMO.
Huh? How does that not make sense…the roon core is on my IMAC and I updated the software on my IMAC and the roon ap on my IMAC can NOT find the roon core? How is that confusing?

Ok, you mean you can’t open Roon on your iMac?
Doesn’t matter. To uninstall Roon, follow the directions in my first post.
i can open the ap and it says to “Choose your Roon Core” of which I’ve never seen before.
However, I click on “FIND MY ROON CORE” and it doesn’t find anything
