Roon Core Machine
Latest Roon 2.0 (build 1277) on Synology DiskStation DS918+ running DSM 7.1.1
Description of Issue
Any Live Radio Station I select will not play showing the message “Playback was interrupted because a track failed to load.”
The latest ffmpeg-Codec is installed in the /bin directory (ffmpeg-git-20230621-amd64-static).
I also tried to empty the cache, re-boot, but facing the same issue.
It worked some time ago, I do not remember when it stopped working though.
Thanks for any advice!

I suspect you need to extract the ffmpeg file only, see KB article
From that link
- no additional files from that package are required, only ffmpeg. You will need to uncompress the file twice.

Thanks, but no, the file is properly extracted and only this one single file is uploaded to the bin folder.

How did you copy it over? - sometimes the file ends up not executable, see, for example,

Many thanks. Tried out several ways. Last by mounting the directory to the Mac finder.
NOW IT WORKS! Thanks for your help
