Was able to get in for a few seconds and then this message. My internet connection is rock solid, and I get this error.
Problem solved. The error has been cleared. I’m able to connect to Tidal once more in Roon
Logged back into Tidal but still not working correctly as no albums showing up.
Looks like this is restored now, logging back into tidal was successful
Yes I can get back in now.
Hi @Duncan_Dixon !
We’re sorry to see you have bumped into this issue.
your problem is likely to be caused by the outage of CloudFlare service which is responsible for work of many other services including TIDAL and partially Roon.
By now the issue seem to be solved by CloudFlare so please try to log in again and check whether everything is working as expected.
have a nice day!
Regards.
Thanks a lot for your message.
Could you be a bit more precise on “broader Roon functionality that relies on cloud services”?
Thanks again ![]()
Isn’t it most things these days. Users keep demanding more features and most of them can never work on tiny NUCs at home
May be. But, to what extend? Also regarding the long past discussion about and reintroduction of offline functionality. Though, roon login required every few weeks or so.
What really is affected beyond third party streaming integration and some metadata?
But local playback and filter seemed to work, nothing more was promised
Was always so, and it’s once in a 30 day window
Well, global search not surprisingly
The last time I had no internet for a short time I didn’t even notice immediately because Roon seemed to look normal. If you want to know exactly, why don’t you try?
No need for that. But, I see my question has been moved to this thread here which already seems to be very long, initially dealing with TIDAL login issues.
I was referring to the originally pinned message saying something about cloudflare outage which says nothing to me in regards to roon.
But it is as it is. Maybe they’ll come up with a few more details, somewhen later.
Large parts of the Internet doesn’t work without Cloudflare these days, so cutting the local Internet access is a good test for checking what happens ![]()
Wonderful SPoF
.
Not quite as bad as this but close:

Indeed, I remember ![]()
Anyway, core functionality of roon seems to be unimpressed by this ![]()
