Guys I seem to struggle with arc to understand it and to understand how downloaded files actually work. So what I’m trying to do in this example is download my favorite 20 tracks that I’ve saved and I believe they’re all on my Mini PC hard drive but when I press the download icon they’re not downloading I don’t know whether I’m doing something wrong maybe someone can explain to me?
I’m guessing obviously if some of these tracks are quobuz then I won’t be able to download them because I will need these songs when I’m in an offline mode and I’m in the woods walking for example.
So I’ve double checked on Roon and I have these songs all as liked with the heart icon and when I go to the heart icon on arc I only see one song?
The little check mark that I circled in red means the file has been downloaded. So, the Goldfrapp and Vance Joy tracks have not been downloaded. Verify those tracks are local and not Qobuz.
Hi Dan.. thanks for the help – I have these tracks in my physical library so can’t roon detect this ? I was guessing this was the case but there files are available under quobuz and hard drive. Thanks mate
It depends on which version is the one that has been hearted. Is the heart on the local track or is the heart on the Qobuz track. If it is on the Qobuz copy then it won’t be downloaded because that heart points to a specific version and that is what Roon will try to downloaded. Roon will not download the local track instead.
