Audionet DNA audio devices not found

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
FritzBox 7490 via Ethernet

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

audionet DNA via Ethernet

Synology NAS DS213 via Ethernet

roon settings / Audio: only PC soundcard , no audio device found

but audionet DNA is shown in windows network and shown in FRitzBox network and operates perfectly in network and with Remote Control Point from windows PC

Hi @Peter_Lohauss,

It looks like this device can be streamed to over the network via UPnP which is not a supported audio device in Roon. It looks like you can play to the device via USB as well — Have you tried playing to the device from Roon in this way?

Thanks for the quick answer. In fact its connected via UPnP. I will try your suggestion.
But even if it works it would be even better, if Roon could be updated to connect via UPnP. Is there any hope to it?

Our contempt for UPnP basically comes down to a few things: UPnP requires codec support on the endpoint, therefore making different endpoints support a different subset of whats out there. This also puts a burden of patent licensing on the manufacturer.
