Back button keeps leading to blank pages

I’m finding that the back button from an album page is routinely leading to a blank page like this:

Left arrow leads to here:

The only thing I’ve found which will “clear” it is to change the sort from “By artist” to, say, “Date added”.

Of course then, when I change it back to “By artist” I’m back at the top of my library & have to go find my place again.

The only thing that’s changed in my set up is that I’ve moved home to a place where the internet is pretty slow. Not sure if that might be the cause?

B1405 Empty album page, then crash when clicking Focus

Yes! (Sorry, I didn’t spot your thread.)

I don’t use focus, so I clicked on it just now to see what it was & the app bombed! lol.

I have found that the back button behaves as expected unless I’ve updated some tags in an album so perhaps the precondition, in my case at least, is that some kind of analysing is going on in the background for the album I’m looking at?

Yeah, the forum does this if the reply follows directly on the replied-to post. It’s very confusing (and has caused occasional misunderstandings on the forum ) because in this case (i.e., reply follows directly) a reply to the post and a reply to the thread are not visually distinguishable.

I have the blank page occasionally after pressing Back. Not recently introduced, I think. Seems an ‘update/refresh’ issue, pressing the heart icon fixes it for me.

Thanks, the heart icon triggers the refresh for me as well.

I never ever had that before B1405, and there is one similar report specifically for B1405 and a new one in Support for B1407 (as linked in the linked post above), so I am pretty sure it’s new at least for some people.

I am seeing this regularly in this build.

It will either be a blank page or I will have a message to “reset focus criteria” or words to that effect. I’ll try and take a screen grab next time it happens.

I also see this a lot.

When I see the 0 of xxx albums blank, the screen can be refreshed by putting literally anything in the search filter.

@support. This should help narrow down where the code is getting screwed.

Still also plenty of app has crashed messages too.
