Description of Issue

When I opened the app, it immediately stated that the Nucleus+ needs a software update (It appears to be version 1.6, and I was told by the Roon sales person that it would ship with the latest update). For the last 30 minutes my i-Pad has been trying to connect to download the update, but nothing happens–the progress wheel just spins. I can’t get past the “Software Update Needed” page.

It sounds like you will need to go directly to it’s web ui and reinstall it’s os from there.
If you know it’s IP address you can type that into a web browser to access it as well.

Thanks, but rebooting the Nucleus did the trick.
