The latest Roon update to Build 1480 crashed my system and it appears to want me to start as if beginning a new account. I cannot access settings now and the only screen I can see is asking me to connect to my Roon Server. Trying that I only get the Roon logo for hours, possibly because of the size of my system. Running a Nucleus with 50K files / Naim Atom / controlled by Mac Air
Thank you for your post. Please use a web browser on this network to navigate to the Nucleus Web Administration Page and share a screenshot of what you see there.
In particular, we’re interested to see what is displayed under the RoonOS tab. Try restarting RoonOS or reinstalling the OS itself.
Do you have a reliable Backup of your Roon database?
OK, here are what I hope are the correct screen shots. I do have backups of the data base and I can see that all of my music files still reside on the Nucleus. I will try a restart/reinstall thank you
I reinstalled the OS and restarted the Server + the Nucleus with no result. So I did it all a second time and then was able to get into the system where I restored from a back up. Eventually that completed and I was able to log back in where I found ALL of my music. Fabulous!! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!!
I spoke too soon. 30 seconds into playing the first track the system shut down and said ‘There was an error loading your library’ suggesting that I restore from a backup which I had just literally finished doing. Suggestions?
Hi @Bryant_Bainbridge,
I’m glad everything is working now. I will mark this as solved. The thread will remain open for another day in case the issue returns.
