The MultipleNatFound in the error message is the issue, see this post for instance.
As you seem to have only one router, the problem is most likely your ISP running on IPv6. According to this …
… the port forwarding on the router seems to have been automatically correctly, but this does not help if your ISP is running on IPv6.
However, Roon is currently working on / testing a solution for users with ISP that only have IPv6. If you feel comfortable, you can try this and hopefully get it working:
Airplay is limited to 44.1/16, so this is certainly the cause. You should see the album art, though, I believe (but not sure).
No idea why it is not seen as Roon Ready though, it should be. Did you enable it in the Roon Ready section of Roon > Settings > Audio? It would show up several times in different sections, based on all the protocols it supports, and you must enable the right entry under Roon Ready. Maybe by mistake you only enabled the Airplay version under Roon Tested?
Maybe but I am going by the provided info mentioning only one router:
Anyway, I linked to the full explanation first, which mentions both possibilities (either two routers or IPv6 with CG-NAT) and wrote that “As you seem to have only one router, the problem is most likely your ISP running on IPv6.”
IPv6 with CG-NAT also leads to MultipleNatFound.
But @anon15113244, yes it is good to point out this other possibility with 2 routers.
Thank you all for responding so quickly. iFi makes great hardware but their documentation for users is barely helpful in my experience. I was able to solve the second issue I mentioned by activating the Roon Ready setting in the Neo Stream. The ARC issue remains. My router is indeed connected to my ISP’s router so that may very well be the cause.
In this case, the MultipleNatFound may be caused only by your two routers, but it’s also possible that there is an ISP issue in addition to this, and even after solving the 2 router problem the MultipleNatFound remains.
What is your ISP?
In any case, start with the 2 router problem, for which Roon’s standard response is:
If your setup involves an ISP-provided gateway (modem/router combination) and your own third-party router:
In the web administration interface of the ISP-provided gateway (modem/router combination), enable Bridge Mode or equivalent, where the ISP-provided gateway does not have DHCP routing enabled.
Alternatively, if you have already created a manual port forwarding rule in your 3rd party router [@Suedkiez: this would be your Asus, where auto-configuration by UPnP seems to be working already], you can add an additional rule to forward the port through the ISP/second router.
Who specifically is your ISP, and what is the make/model of your ISP router? There may be additional steps required to Bridge the unit as other users have suggested above. The tech support team is happy to assist you, but we’ll need a little more information.
