Can't connect to Roon Core V1.8 running on a QNAP

Description Of Issue
When I first downloaded and installed it it seemed to work fine. Now, however, it no longer can find the core even though everything is running fine. I hadn’t changed anything in the core configuration from the initial installation but now it just won’t connect.

I’ve tried cycling the network on and off, shutting down and rebooting the core and making minor adjustments to the QNAP streaming app but nothing helps.

A few times I’ve thought that it was fixed because it would connect but then it would just drop the connection after a little while. If anyone has figured this out I hope they will post the workaround.
