Thanks so much for that. Adding it to Apple Home seems to have worked. All good now. I had to go into the Roon settings for the Muso and under Advanced Settings - Compatability Mode click to allow older Airplay devices

Connor, do you have any progress to report in your attempts to remedy the Airplay regression? My Marantz ND8006 continues to be useless with Roon, which is highly inconvenient since it’s where we do a lot of our casual listening in the mornings. I have to use Airplay2 directly from my music apps, like SiriusXM, Tidal or Radio Paradise but it would really be nice to be able to use Roon and group the Marantz with other Airplay devices around the house.

Sync Gap Issue Between AirPlay 1 and AirPlay 2 Speakers in Roon Update [Investigating]

@connor Hi Connor, Thank you for your good work so far. Can you explain why/how this sync issue is a different one as the one before? When this occurred earlier this year, there was a quick fix (early access) and this time it stays a lot longer. I’m using the early access and have a serious problem with Roon for the past month, which I’ve paid for. (This is not the first time.) Can you give me a window where I can expect to receive a permament fix? You’ll probably see its getting annoying. …
