I’m confused - when you say you’re updating the database?

I have created my own new radio station (called it BBC R6) with the new links. Is that different to how you are doing things?

I mean that Roon now uses the updated URLs in the live radio database. So if you find BBC Radio 6 via the magnifying glass for example, it will work.

@BrianW and a couple of other users have access to the Live Radio directory of Roon and can update logos, streams, descriptions for the whole community. Additionnally you will get track info for BBC by using Live Radio directory (look for your station with the magnifying glass).

Relieved to get Radio 3 back, but I can only get a low bit rate Radio 4.If there is a fix for that, I’d really appreciate it.

Weird moment for the BBC to do this, given global events.

Radio 4 320k is available for UK listeners. Are you using the database version and not your own my live radio urls?

When I searched for Radio 4, only the LW version came up, plus my old version.

But found it via Political Talk.

BBC Radio 1 Dance is completely missing for me. Roon still shows me 320, 128 & 96kbps, but none play. All my other saved BBC stations play ok.

 listening to Radio 3 at 320 in my office at the moment, your work is doubly appreciated because the HiFi Rose 250 downstairs can’t get BBC anymore on its built in radio app, and so Roon is probably the best combination of ease of use and quality for BBC radio on it (I can also tether my iPhone with Sounds but don’t really see why I should have to).

None of the BBC stations in Roon Live Radio are playing for me? I’m in the UK and other Live Radio stations play ok. I’ve also tried adding a station maually in My Live Radio using the new ‘no rewind’, ‘rewind’ and ‘listen live’ urls (the latter works perfectly on my Volumio) but Roon won’t accept any of them. Any collective thoughts?

The BBC stations play for me.

The URLs used in the database are effectively m3u playlists which reference ‘norewind’ urls.

For example the radio 4 UK one ends up as
https://as-hls-uk-live.akamaized.net/pool_904/live/uk/bbc_radio_fourfm/bbc_radio_fourfm.isml/bbc_radio_fourfm-audio%3D320000.norewind.m3u8

Does that work if you add that to my live radio ? (it does for me)

PS do the non-uk streams play for you?

A thought - the BBC streams are all aac. Have you tried aac streams from other stations?
