I happened to have a spare one laying around doing nothing so I have used that and I am happy with the result out of my Pro Plus (into an external DAC). Small but incremental improvements

Ifi Zen stream would also be an option. You can use it with or without Roon, and it has USB out, which can be a boon if you want to use a USB reclocker.

I ended up ordering the Eversolo DMP A6 to act as my streamer. The nice screen tempted me 
I am keeping my Nucleus to act as my Core and it also stores my music on the SSD.
The Eversolo will be connected to my Devialet 200 amp so I am assuming USB will be the best connection.
Its a good looking piece of kit so looking forward to receieving it.

I suppose it’s all relative, but I didn’t consider the A6 to be in cheap steamer territory.
I agree it’s not really what I originally intended.
I just thought the nice display with the album artwork would look nice .
So I will shuffle my gear around to make up for it . I will use it as a roon endpoint , and when my iOS Roon remote is acting up I can use it to stream tidal connect
