Does this happen no matter the Roon Remote you use?
If you safely stop Roon Server, then reboot your server machine, router, and chromecast devices, do you run into the same issue?
We’ve enabled diagnostics on your Roon Server in the meantime, and will take a closer look into things. Let us know how the above goes and if your issue persists afterwards!
@benjamin Thanks for your response. A full reboot of Roon server brings all Chromecast devices back. No idea what would trigger Roon to lose all of those devices in it’s audio listing though.
Thanks for the prompt follow-up! Odd behavior indeed, the next time you experience a situation where all your Chromecast devices disappear, jot down the name of the track playing (if applicable) as well as the date and time, and we’ll take another look at a fresh diagnostic report.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide us with the exact timestamp of when the Chromecast device disappears again after the reboot. This will help us trace the logs more efficiently.
