I have not played any of the Balders gate series, I just had a look at the video on Steam, and the closest I have got looks to be dragon age maybe? Or Mass Effect, or possibly The Knights of the Old Republic. And I have put alot of time into Vampire Survivors which was meant to be a game for me to play on the Steamdeck, and yet, I have put 43 hours in on my main pc, with 3080 and i9 9900, which might be a little overkill!
I tend to favour single player games, so I am currently on the new Dead Space and Everspace 2. I can then get to play when there are gaps that fit in with the family. I have book marked the game though.
Great Game as is Mass Effect and Knights of the old republic. All of which Iāve played. You should add Original Sin: Divinity to the list you should check out. The second of the series is one of the best RPGs of all time. Much of itās DNA has found itself in Baldurās Gate 3 (same production company).
I tried to get into that a few times. One of the very few games I stopped. Perhaps I will have another go. Its already downloaded on the deck ready for trips etc.
I asked my son to recommend a wander about and look at things game as I have the reaction time of a dead haddock and am not interested in killing things or solving puzzles.
Loaded the game up, Journey, canāt figure out how to make the character move. I lasted 4 minutes
I will look it up.
Same with all the X-Wing games. A whole bunch of fans have been updating the game for years now. And they are still busy with it. Whole new graphics, they are even busy integrating the original TIE Fighter game into it. Itās crazy.
Thatās what I tried Iāll have another go when Iāve got longer than 5 mins.
Iād just installed steam after rebuilding the PC so thought Iād have a go.
Iāve always been rubbish at them since Zork in 1983.
Love Dark Souls, platinumād Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodbourne, Eleden Ring on the PS5 and played again on the PC. Quite a time sink. I am looking forward to Jedi Survivor, I am just working my way through remake of dead space on the PC.
I donāt think I understand the niche this product is intended to fill. Isnāt this the exact same thing as the free Remote Play app available for phones? It also doesnāt support bluetooth as far as I know. Seems a weird one.
It is a PS5 controller, split in half with an 8ā LCD bwtween the two halves as you know. It allows the user to play all of his PS4 and PS5 games stored on any of his consoles and to do so without dominating a TV. So family can watch their movie or news while you while away remaining youth trying to save the people in Until Dawn. So, I suppose, it is just for a private gaming experience like several other hand helds.
