Connecting a Gold Note DS 10

Make sure your DS-10 is running the latest firmware from Gold Note.

Hi John,
After I installed the GN Control app on my phone an automatic FW upgrade process started and completed successfully. Now in the app it shows F/W: goldnote_1cu_Badmrsv v3.8.16.
However on the GN website it says the latest FW is version 180…this is very confusing so I have requested via email the latest version, hopefully I will get it.

Yes, the volume is set to fix and all DSD’s are disabled.

They are different things. There is the firmware for the app which looks like you have updated. And there is firmware for the DS-10 which you should look to update. Yes, it is confusing.

Thanks, this explains the different versions…hopefully GN will email it to me as direct download doesn’t seem to be available on their website.
