Description of Issue

I added the soundbar as a ‘other network devices’ via AirPlay. When I select this soundbar in the iPhone app, it shows as if it is playing, but no sound comes out of the sound bar, regardless of volumes on the iphone and/or the soundbar.

A bit stumped, what else do I need to do?

Thanks for getting in touch about this — we’re sorry about the trouble.

Just to make sure, you have connected your Samsung Soundbar to your Roon Core (the Apple OS), enabled it in Settings → Audio (under AirPlay devices) and selected it as a zone to play to in the bottom bar, according to these instructions:

Can you play music to other outputs? Even if that is your iPhone (you can select it as an output zone from the iPhone itself)

What is the source of your music? Streaming? Local files?
