Constant problems while streaming from Tidal

Roon Core Machine

Mac Mini. Core i5 2.3 Ghz 8GB RAM 128GB SSD. I am using lates Roon version (build 884).

Networking Gear & Setup Details

Cable Ethernet connected to home router (TP-LINK).

Connected Audio Devices


Number of Tracks in Library

< 1000.

Description of Issue

  1. I got an “Can’t login in tidal message”
  2. Even if Roon CAN login tracks can’t be played!

This happens from time to time. Sometime it is imposible to login for few hours. Sometimes only few tracks can’t be played sometimes almost all of them.

Native Tidal app is working, but Roon don’t.

I would try logging out of all instances of Tidal, removing Tidal from Roon and adding it again. Seems to fix similar issues for other people.

What @Graeme_Finlayson suggested, we would have suggested too as a first step. Did you get a chance to try this?

I tried to disconnect Tidal from Room, but the issue wasn’t fixed.
