Description of Issue

When using Dark Theme in Roon, the search box opens up with what looks to be almost black font on black background. Of course this makes it nearly impossible to read what you type.

Not happening here. Are you by any chance using the unofficial hack that someone posted on the forum to make the Mac window bar black in dark mode? Because IIRC this has this side effect.

I’m going to assume those of you without problems still have the mac set for light mode? I am using dark mode on the mac along with roon dark mode.

As you have a dark title bar it looks like you might have done the following hack at some point:

If so, open a terminal window and paste the following:

defaults write com.roon.Roon NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance 1

This will reset the dark title bar and ‘fix’ your search box.

After you pointed out the title bar being, I might have done the hack…cause now I hate the white title bar.
