Is the fact that all my random stops occur between tracks in any way diagnostically useful?
If so where does it indicate I should start troubleshooting?

Thanks for getting in touch. If I understand correctly, music randomly stops when listening to music? If so, could you please tell us more by using this post as a guide?
With respect, it was deliberately a very specific question with pretty much a yes or no answer. Maybe you could have replied with an answer?
Random stopping at any time usually points to network.
I’m no expert but I’m guessing it is using more bandwidth when loading a song and finding the info than when playing.
