Disappearance of songs and playlists after creation (ref#TAGO2V)

What’s happening?

· My library isn’t working correctly (local/streaming, importing, or storage access)

Describe the issue

I created a new playlist, started adding songs from other playlists. Everything looked fine, few songs could not be added, as they did not exist, but 99% was just fine. During the copying process, i could see about 2000 songs in the new playlist. Now, 5 mind later, I can see zero songs in the list, furthermore few copied playlist has disappeared as well.

Good day @ondriktomi !

I hope you’re doing well today.

Can you please clarify whether you created a new playlist with local tracks or with tracks from streaming services ?

Looking forward to your reply!

Regards.

I just tried to create the new playlist again, adding all songs from other playlists into this big playlist.
Now, I am happy to report that all my playlists disappeared.
Bravo!

Hi @ondriktomi,

As these are Qobuz playlists I suspect it is related to this …

Hi Carl,

Yes, might be related to that issue. So annoying.

Thank you for linking the other post.

Hi Alex,

Tracks from Qobuz streaming service.
Those tracks were in different qobuz playlists under my account and i wanted to add them into one big playlist.

Rgds,

Tamas

Good day @ondriktomi !

We’re sorry to see you have that problem, but yes, that’s a know problem caused by Qobuz API change.

Your logs are full of such messages:

JSON: missing required string field: color

There is not much to do with it now other than just wait until next release.

We’re aware of it and actively working on solving it.

Have a nice day!

Regards.

Hi @ondriktomi,

There is a fix undergoing testing in #earlyaccess for the issue you’ve reported in this thread. Here are instructions to move your Roon devices to the Early Access branch if you wish to test the fix:

The fix will be rolled out into the next Roon update. If you don’t want to migrate your server and remotes to the Early Access testing branch, you can simply wait for the next Roon update containing the fix.

Please see the main tracking thread here, where the team is posting regular updates. We’re going to close this thread to ensure that all information pertaining to this thread stays in the main tracking thread moving forward.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
