Qobuz Playlists Unavailable in Roon [Fix in EarlyAccess]

Hi everyone,

Qobuz and Roon are aware of an issue affecting Qobuz playlists in Roon and are working together to resolve it.

What’s happening:

  • Navigating to Roon → Qobuz → Playlists shows an empty page.
  • Navigating to Roon → Playlists → Qobuz Playlists displays some Qobuz playlists, but might not display recently created Qobuz playlists.
  • Navigating to Roon → Qobuz → New Releases may intermittently show a red error message, even if the page loads.

Playlists created within Roon that include Qobuz content are not affected.
You can still access Qobuz Playlists via the Playlists browser: Roon → Playlists → Qobuz Playlists.

Cause:
This issue is an unexpected consequence of changes made to the Qobuz API.

Next steps:
Qobuz and Roon are working closely to restore full playlist functionality as soon as possible.
We’ll share an update here as soon as we’ve confirmed a resolution pathway and a fix is ready for release.

We understand how important playlists are to your listening experience, and we’re sorry for the disruption this is causing. Thank you for your patience while we work with Qobuz to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.

Hi everyone,

There is a fix undergoing testing in the Early Access branch: EarlyAccess: RoonServer 2.56 Build 1567 is Live!

We’d like to invite users to join #earlyaccess to test the fix. Please see this article to migrate your RoonServer and Remotes to the EarlyAccess track.

Presumably the recent changes with the Qobuz API also account for my inability to remove any items from Roon?

I have upgrade to early access and still can’t see my Qobuz playlist in Roon?

Latest release? B1567.
And restarted the Roon Server?

And you updated the server, too?

Issue is still present with the early access 1567 release installed. See screenshots attached. None of my Qobuz favorite tracks are showing in Roon. Everything else works fine.

Hello @Brian_Kelly

Thank you for the update.

Based on diagnostic data, your serveris still on the production build.

2.55 (build 1559) production

Please follow the guide on how to migrate to the EA build, or you can wait for the next production release.

I’ve upgraded to the Early Access version, and the error message has gone away, but I still do not have access to my favorited tracks in Qobuz from my Roon server.

When I download and install it updates Roon remote to early access, but not Roon server?

Thanks
Brian

I have tried removing Roon from my mac and reinstalling the early access DMG and the previous screen shot is what Roon says after installing.

Just pushed another update and all works well. Thanks all!

Hello Everyone

The issue with the favorite tracks should be fixed for now. Please let us know if you are facing any other issues with the EA build.
