Why do I keep getting a message that there is a problem with the download of the most recent release to my MacBook? And then I get a message that the Metadata needs the most recent software. What to do?

We’re seeing this metadata error for a few other folks, and have generally tracked it down to issues with a VPN, firewall, or other issues reaching our servers. Have you tried a reboot since you started getting the message?
