Hello Everyone,
We’re excited to announce the latest release of Roon OS, now featuring native Tailscale support!
While many users enjoy seamless connectivity with ARC, we recognize that some encounter challenges due to ISP restrictions, router configurations, and other technical issues. To address this, we’ve integrated a simple Tailscale setup into Roon OS. You can now enable Tailscale with just a few clicks. Note that you’ll still need Tailscale running on your phone for ARC, but the setup on your Roon OS has been streamlined for ease of use.
This update is available for ROCK users running the UEFI build as well as for Nucleus One and Nucleus Titan users. We are actively developing a program to extend this update to a broader range of Nucleus devices - stay tuned!
We hope this integration enhances your Roon experience, and we are committed to continually improving our service.
Version 2.1?
Yes, this is version 2.1. You might be wondering what happened to 2.0. During the transition to Harman, version 2.0 should have been the UEFI build, but it wasn’t. We’re correcting that now with this update. If you want to think of a 2.0 version, consider builds 1.0.254 to 1.0.259 as 2.0 (builds 254-259).
