Have you tried to simplify the network setup a bit by bypassing the Ethernet switch and having Core + Rendu connected directly to the router?

This would be a worthwhile test in my opinion.

While we can’t recommend one specific router in particular, most consumer-grade routers work just fine for our customers. Specifically though, Apple networking gear has been problematic with Roon in the past which is why we try to warn our users. Impossible to bypass the switch. That would require two long runs from a separate room through walls, etc.
I am also able to stream Roon to Sonos wired to the same switch without problems.

If Roon is working with the Sonos and with the iPad output, this sounds like it could be a DAC-specific issue. Have you tried the MicroRendu with any other DAC yet? Do other DACs exhibit this issue?
