Hi Roon Client Keeps Mistaking NAS for Server—How to Fix?

Here’s my network setup: The Roon Server is running on a Windows 11 machine at IP 192.168.50.250, and my music library is stored on a Synology NAS at IP 192.168.50.146. However, every time I launch the Roon client, it mistakenly identifies the synology NAS (192.168.50.146) as the Roon Server, when in fact the correct Roon Server IP is 192.168.50.250. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Do you know if Roon is installed on your NAS? If so, look to make sure that it is not running a Roon server.

But it is strange that it shows Windows 11 as the OS at that IP… We might need Tech support to enable diagnostics to see what is going on.
