In 2025, Roon still can’t stream music reliably.

There’s always an issue. It’s so frustrating. I can’t listen to music either because of this issue.

Roon should have a phone technical support team.

I’ve had reliability issues with Roon when my Roon Server was connected to my router through wifi. Lots of track skipping, freezes and dropouts occuring. After connecting the server through an Ethernet cable Roon’s performance has been pretty much rock solid ever since.

I’m getting the feeling that most of Roon’s reliability issues, when it comes to streaming, are more related to the persons network system then it is with Roon in general.

For me it streams reliable, despite the Metadata improver not finishing. But I have a professionally managed enterprise class wired network running ROCK on it.

And still, there are quirks here and there. Recently the search wasn’t working reliably, unable to find known artists, some were found, not all, etc…
