Sounds good, thanks @Antoine_Auriol!

Content you’re reporting an issue with

All my Qobuz albums in ROON no longer appears in the correct added order. Everything looks fine in the Qobuz web player. When I restore ROON from an earlier b/u everything is back at normal for a while, but after a while ROON makes a mess of it again.

Some of the high res albums in my collection appears as 16/44.1 with no other options for resolution.

I have restored and rebooted several times, but ROON still insists to get it wrong.

Have you made any edits to this content in Roon?

Is the album identified in Roon?

Is this content from local files, TIDAL, or Qobuz?

Description of the issue

https://community.roonlabs.com/t/incorrect-date-added-for-qobuz-albums-in-roon-library-ref-lxpke3/314008/7?u=suedkiez

Hello, yes indeed, I have the same issue with my Qobuz albums from library in Roon, some albums (not all) have a wrong “date added” therefore they appear on top of my albums list although they were added a long time ago. I hope this issue will be solved soon as I still remember the issue with Tidal from last year took a long time to be solved.

Moving to Support .

Hello @christer_hedin,

Thanks for reporting this, and for the detailed description — that’s very helpful.

Since this behavior appears to recur after some time (even after restoring a backup), the next important step is for us to examine the database from before the issue first occurred.

Please do the following:

  1. Locate a Roon backup created before the album order started changing.
  2. Package (zip) that backup following the steps in this guide:
    https://help.roonlabs.com/portal/en/kb/articles/error-message-there-was-an-issue-loading-your-database
  3. Upload the packaged backup using the uploader linked in that article and let us know once it’s done.

This will allow our team to inspect the database state and understand what’s causing the “Date Added” values to change unexpectedly.

One additional question

To help narrow this down further, could you also let us know:

  • Does this happen after a specific action (for example: syncing Qobuz content, editing metadata, adding albums, running cleanup, restoring a backup),
    or
  • Does it seem to happen on its own over time, without any clear trigger?

Thanks again for your patience — once we have the backup and a bit more context, we’ll be able to continue the investigation more effectively.

Can we get a weekly update because it’s mess.

I have this issue also, lots of albums I added ages ago show up as very recently added. And don’t tell me I have to restore some old backup and redo a thousand edits and changes I have made since.

Last week it started, suddenly alot of music i have on my account is added to the list latest added, this is very annoying,
How can i avoid this, i want this list only to show what i add in chronological order NOT some random adds of music already on there!

I fully appreciate your frustration here, but could you please edit your threads title. It’ll likely get the unwanted attention of the forum moderators.

Edit: thank you :+1:

I’ve moved your post into the existing Support thread on this issue. Roon Labs are investigating it.

I have the same issue. Recently added shows all of Qobuz streaming library added on January 18, 2026. Clearing cache and restoring backup do not work. Restore backup works only initially and then the Qobuz albums all become “recently added” again. Very frustrating

I have the same issue on 2 different systems in two different homes. I’d started another thread elsewhere before seeing this one. Anxious to hear how this shakes out as I used this feature a lot.

Hello @Walter_Stresemann,

Would you kindly upload the backup that contains the correct date added before the issue occurs, and provide a few album names after corruption?

Still no updates @richard_rubenstein, unfortunately - our team is working on the case.

It’s likely not database-related @Suedkiez, so you’re correct in that restoring a backup will not help long-term. As soon as Roon re-authenticates with Qobuz, albums revert to the incorrect dates.

I’m sorry we don’t have any updates yet. This is a high-priority case our team is continuing to investigate

I meant that I hope I don’t have to restore an old backup to revert the dates when the underlying issue is fixed

Thank you for the update.
