Artwork in Roon appears wrongly rotated

Thanks @BlackJack , I ended up fixing the problem using a similar principle. I opened the photo in Photoshop, fixed the rotation and then exported it as a .png. This seemed to “reset” or at least correct the rotation issue. This problem only appears occasionally so hopefully I won’t have to do this too often. Hopefully this information will help someone else with a similar problem. Thanks for your input @BlackJack !

Hi @extracampine, Most often, the underlying cause is a retained exif tag in the artwork file itself. We’d be happy to take a look at the file in our next QA sync after the weekend (either the track with artwork, or the artwork itself). Hi @lester_derek, Thank you for your patience here. We took a deeper look at the files you sent, and it appears the actual file for the rotated cover has an Exif orientation value which could cause the image to rotate in certain viewers. None of the other artwork has this particular orientation value, so I suspect that’s the culprit. I recommend removing the Exif tags for that particular album artwork or replacing it with another image which doesn’t have Exif tags. It should then display with …
